Notice PPC — Pick Up. Pursue. Close. | Stop Losing Jobs to Whoever Answers First
● Lead follow-up for home-service & trades businesses

Somebody Called You Today. They Hired Whoever Answered.

Most service businesses don't have a lead problem. They have a gap — the stretch between "they called" and "someone called back." Notice PPC closes it: missed calls get a text back in seconds, new leads get answered before they call the next name on Google, and quotes get followed up until you get a yes or a no.

You already paid for those leads — in ads, truck wraps, and years of reputation. The system just makes sure somebody answers.

The Math Most Owners Never Run

What Are Your Unanswered Leads Actually Costing You?

Slide in your own numbers. No email required. Most owners guess low.

Voicemails, after-hours calls, web forms nobody saw till the next day.
Be honest. Your normal close rate on a warm caller is a good starting point.
Not lifetime value — just the first ticket. (Lifetime makes this worse.)
Walking out the door every month
$2,925
That's $35,100 a year

Money that already showed up — and left because nobody got back to it in time.

Speed isn't a nice-to-have. In a widely cited Harvard Business Review study of lead response, companies that reached out within an hour were nearly 7× more likely to qualify the lead than companies that waited even one hour longer.Source: "The Short Life of Online Sales Leads," Harvard Business Review, March 2011.

Sound Familiar?

Four Ways Good Jobs Quietly Walk Away

None of them feel like an emergency. That's exactly why they keep happening.

7:48 PM

The voicemail nobody heard till morning

Water on the floor, AC out, a quote they needed today. They hit your voicemail, hung up, and called the next name on Google. By 8 AM, the job's already somebody else's.

Monday → Thursday

The web form that sat for three days

They filled it out Monday. Your team saw it Thursday. They weren't mad when you called — they'd just already hired someone.

Day 1, then silence

The quote nobody followed up on

You drove out, measured, priced it, sent it. Then nothing — and nobody had time to chase it. Most of those weren't no's. They were not-yet's that never heard from you again.

Every single day

Your best person, stuck being a switchboard

Confirming appointments. Resending reminders. Typing notes into the CRM. The person who should be closing jobs is doing work a system could do at 3 AM without complaining.

None of these are marketing problems. They're follow-up problems — and follow-up is exactly what a well-built system does better than a busy human: every time, at 7:48 PM, without being reminded.

The Fix

Eight Leaks We Plug — Starting With Your Most Expensive One

Every fix does one of three jobs — that's the PPC in Notice PPC. You won't need all eight; most businesses need one or two. The free Leak Map call tells you which, and in what order.

Missed-Call Text-Back

Every call that hits voicemail gets a text within seconds — "Sorry we missed you, what's going on?" The conversation keeps moving while your phone's still in your pocket.

Pick Up · After Hours

After-Hours Front Desk

A virtual receptionist — trained on your business, running on AI under the hood — picks up after hours or when every line is busy, asks your qualifying questions, and books straight onto your calendar. You approve every word it says before it takes a single call.

Instant Lead Reply

Web forms, Facebook leads, Google messages — answered in seconds with the actual next step, not a limp "we got your message." You reach them while they're still holding the phone.

Quote Chaser

Sent a quote and heard crickets? The system follows up on day 1, 3, 7 and 14 — politely, persistently, in your voice — until they say yes, no, or "call me in spring."

Old-Lead Wake-Up

Last year's estimates. Quotes nobody closed. Customers you haven't talked to since the install. We send each one a personal, well-timed message in your voice — and the ones who are ready raise their hand. You already paid for every name on that list; this is usually the quickest win in the whole system.

Job's done, customer's happy — that's the moment to ask. Every customer gets a review request right after the job, plus one friendly nudge if they forget. And if someone replies unhappy, it lands on your phone so you can make it right fast.

Who You're Actually Dealing With

Not a Call Center. Not an Offshore Dev Shop. Me.

I'm Jay Sherman. Before AI was a buzzword, I was serving the home trades — building websites and doing online marketing for roofers, HVAC companies and pest control outfits. I started studying web design in 2014, opened Notice Marketing in 2015, and began building AI-powered follow-up systems in 2023. When you book a call on this page, you get me — not a sales rep, not a call center — and I'm the one who builds your system.

Here's what I won't do: sell you a shiny software package you don't need. Sometimes the fix for your leak is a better voicemail greeting and a text-back — and if that's the case, I'll tell you on the first call.

And I don't build systems to replace your people. I build it so your people stop drowning — so the office manager you trust isn't chasing voicemails at 8 PM, and your best closer is closing instead of confirming appointments.

You'll notice there's no "call me" button. That's on purpose. Most days I'm heads-down building systems for clients — and I'd be a hypocrite to let your call roll to my voicemail. So I practice what I preach: pick a time, get your confirmation instantly, and I show up.

How I Work

Six Promises You'll Hold Me To

Leak First, Software Second

We start with your calls, your forms and your follow-up — and find where money's walking out. The tech comes after.

Use What You Already Have

Your calendar, phone, CRM and inbox. If it can be built inside what you pay for now, that's where it gets built.

Fixed Price, In Writing

Before anything's built you'll see what it does, what it costs, and what "working" looks like. No surprise invoices.

Your People Stay in Charge

The system handles the first reply and the reminders. Your team handles the conversations that matter. You set the handoff rules.

Live in Days, Not Months

One focused workflow at a time. No year-long "digital transformation" you'll be paying for before it does anything.

Trained, Not Dumped

Your team gets a walkthrough and a one-page cheat sheet — so it gets used, not abandoned in a login nobody remembers.

How It Works

Three Steps. No "Transformation Project."

1

The Leak Map Call

Free, 30 minutes. We find where leads slip, estimate what it's costing, and name the first fix. You keep the map either way.

2

We Build the Fix

Fixed price, written scope. Wired into your tools and tested against real calls before it ever touches a real customer.

3

It Runs. We Tune It.

Your team gets trained, the system goes live, and we adjust it as real customers hit it — so it keeps getting sharper.

Straight Answers

The Questions Owners Actually Ask

Is this going to replace my office staff?

No. It takes the 7:48 PM calls, the reminder texts, and the chasing nobody has time for — so your people can do the work only people can do. Most owners find their team likes it more than they do.

Is this AI? Will it sound like a robot to my customers?

Some of it runs on AI — the same way your truck runs on an engine you never think about. What your customers notice is a fast, useful answer, not the technology. And it won't sound robotic if it's built right: You approve every message and every script before anything goes live, written the way your business actually talks. Customers care that they got a fast, useful answer — that's what we build for.

Do I have to switch software or learn a new system?

Usually not. We build around your calendar, phone and CRM wherever we can. If something you already pay for can't do the job, I'll tell you before you spend a dime on anything new.

Honestly, I don't need follow-up. I need more leads.

More leads poured into a leaky bucket just leak faster — so we plug the holes first. Once they're plugged, yes, I can help you get found: local content built around the services you actually offer and the top questions your customers are asking, so Google and the AI assistants people now ask for recommendations point them to you. Plug first, then pour.

What does it cost?

It depends on which leak we're plugging — a missed-call text-back is a very different build than a full after-hours front desk. You'll get a fixed price in writing before anything starts, and the Leak Map call is free.

How fast is it live?

Most single workflows go live in days, not months. We'll give you a real date on the call, not a range that keeps sliding.

What if a system isn't the right fix for my business?

Then the free call tells you that, and you're out 30 minutes. I'd rather tell you no than sell you something that sits there unused.
